Hein Marcus LL.B., Barrister & Solicitor concentrates his legal practice in the area of Canadian immigration law. He has extensive practical legal experience and has successfully assisted a significant number of clients in a wide variety of immigration matters.
Prior to making the decision to start his own immigration law firm (2001), he was an associate with a major law firm in Vancouver, Canada, in the areas of civil litigation and immigration law. He started his legal career in 1993 in the area of civil litigation as an attorney of the Supreme Court of South Africa.
He has also been a Teaching Assistant in the University of British Columbia Immigration Practitioner Certificate Program (IPCP) since its inception in 2000, and has been on the IPCP Advisory Committee since 2003. In this capacity Mr. Marcus is actively involved in the academic, practical and ethical training of immigration practitioners.
He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association, Immigration Section.
